Our Fine Needle Aspiration Clinic offers timely diagnosis of both neoplastic and non-neoplastic disease, reducing the need for open surgical biopsies for many patients.
Our 12 board-certified pathologists boast fellowship sub-specialty expertise in cytopathology, hematopathology, immunopathology, molecular pathology, and dermatopathology, with special interests in uropathology, breast pathology and gastrointestinal pathology.
With Oregon locations in Coos Bay and Eugene/Springfield, the practice has served these two regions and the Pacific Northwest for more than 75 years.
We perform both clinical and anatomic pathology to diagnose and characterize disease by examining biopsies or bodily fluids. We also interpret medical laboratory tests to help prevent illness or monitor chronic conditions.
Offering Comprehensive Services
Eight decades of providing clinical and anatomic pathology
Founded 84 years ago, Pathology Consultants is one of the first medical groups formed in Oregon. We own and operate the largest and most comprehensive clinical and anatomic pathology services laboratory in the region. We provide physicians with an excellent and easily accessed consultative resource for questions regarding patient biopsies. Our comprehensive internal and external quality assurance practices meet or exceed professional and regulatory compliance standards. Our decades of indexed local patient results allow us to identify diagnostic trends. Most importantly, we review your patient’s known previous findings and incorporate them as they may relate to a current study. We welcome provider calls to talk about any issues related to a patient’s biopsy or our services. We’re always available to consult on any case, and have a pathologist on-call around the clock.
